1. Enrolment
- A place is confirmed once the registration form is completed and the deposit is paid.
- The Centre may refuse enrolment at its discretion.
2. Deposits and Fees
- A non-refundable deposit, equivalent to TWO lessons' fees secures your child’s place.
This deposit is held on account and is used to pay (in full, or as part payment) for the final two lessons, whenever they happen to be, once TWO weeks' notice is given.
- Fees are currently due monthly in advance, and invoices are sent on the 1st of each month.
- The standard lesson fee is £37.00; however, if payment is received on or before the due date on your invoice, a £1.00 prompt payment discount will be allowed, making the fee £36.00.
- Late payments (after the due date) will be charged the full £37.00.
- Any childcare voucher payments must also be received by the invoice due date to count towards the discounted rate.
- New customers must pay their first invoice in full before attending their first lesson.
3. Payments
- Payments should ideally be made by Bank Transfer into our HSBC bank account.
- If an account is in arrears, lessons MAY be suspended until the account is brought back up to date.
4. Debt Recovery
- If a final demand letter has to be issued for unpaid debts, an additional charge of £15.00 will be added to the account. Failure to pay within a further seven days will result in small claims court proceedings with a further cost of £15.00 added to your account, in addition to any fees levied by the court.
5. Attendance/Missed Lessons
- It is important that your child’s attendance is regular as this ensures continuity, and a high quality of teaching & learning.
- Once a child is enrolled, a place is reserved, and this slot cannot be taken by another student. Fees are payable whether your child attends or not.
- If your child cannot make a lesson, for whatever reason, we must be told in advance.
- Where possible, we will try to reschedule the lesson within the same week. We cannot guarantee that the lesson will be with the student's usual teacher, but it will be with a suitably qualified teacher.
- If the lesson cannot be rearranged within the same week, you must get in touch to reschedule the lesson within 30 days of the missed lesson.
- If we are not notified in advance of a missed lesson, or if you do not book the missed lesson within 30 days, online work can be accessed (for English and maths). Where possible, and only when advance notice has been given, we will ask the science tutors to set suitable work.
- If the Centre cancels a lesson, we will reschedule or refund it.
6. Notice Period
- Please give TWO weeks' written notice (in writing or by email) when you wish to stop tuition.
- Without proper notice, fees will continue for the notice period.
- The Centre may end an enrolment immediately for misconduct or unpaid fees.
