At LEA Tuition, we understand the importance of strong literacy skills in a child’s educational journey. Our English tutoring for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 focuses on nurturing essential skills aligned with the National Curriculum. We offer tailored sessions that cover phonics, helping children prepare for the Year 1 Phonics Screening Check, as well as developing their reading skills with an emphasis on fluency and comprehension.
Our friendly tutors provide support in spelling, grammar, writing practice, and more, ensuring a well-rounded approach to literacy. Each lesson is designed to build confidence in reading, writing, punctuation, and vocabulary, catering to the individual needs of each child from Reception to Year 6. Whether your child is preparing for KS2 SATs or simply needs a boost in their literacy skills, we are here to help them thrive!
At LEA Tuition, we provide a friendly and supportive environment where children can truly thrive in their maths learning. Our dedicated team covers a wide range of skills, including mental arithmetic, calculations, times tables, reasoning, and problem solving. We ensure that our approach aligns with the National Curriculum, helping students grasp the essential mathematical concepts they need to succeed in school.Understanding that every child learns at their own pace, we offer tailored support to help them catch up or push ahead. For those preparing for KS1 and KS2 SATs, as well as the Year 4 multiplication check, we provide focused preparation to boost their confidence.
Additionally, we offer 11+ entrance exam tuition for local schools, including verbal and non-verbal reasoning where appropriate, along with mock tests for local state grammar schools.

My daughter has recently had 2 sessions per week for a term and a half at LEA Tuition in preparation for her maths GCSE re sit exams this week. The owner was so welcoming and friendly from the moment we first went in. The maths teachers are brilliant tutors and both went above and beyond at explaining things so my daughter understood and got her head around certain areas she wasn’t sure about. I just wish I had booked the tutor sessions a lot more in advance of her GCSEs!
My daughter attended LEA Tuition to catch up on missed science lessons in the run up to her GCSEs.
